Ministry of Finance

The Ministry of Finance manages the funds of the federal state. This includes taxes, subsidies and other charges. The ministry administers the 25 tax offices of the Free State. In addition, it monitors the Saxon budget and controls the expenditure of the state authorities. Another area of responsibility of the Ministry is the management of land and enterprises owned by or partly owned by the State. These include, for example, airports, trade fair Leipzig or traditional companies such as the state porcelain factory Meissen.
