Can I study in Germany?
What do I have to keep in mind for that?

People come from many countries outside the European Union to study in Germany. This international exchange is also recognized as conducive to international cooperation and the global exchange of knowledge. Foreign students receive for the purpose of studying in Germany a residence permit of at least one year and at most two. For that only a campus program comes into question. Evening, weekend and distance learning are no adequate reasons. Applicants from outside the EU receive a residence permit for nine months in order to find a place. You can only apply for a place, when you meet the applicable requirements in Germany like a corresponding higher degree and appropriate language skills. If you are unable to get a place in this period, you must leave the country. University applicants are also not entitled to assistance from the State. It is therefore useful and necessary to prepare ahead from your home country if you wish to study in Germany.
