Ministry of State for Economy, Labor and Transport

The Ministry of Economy, Labor and Transport has the main task to support the economy in Saxony. These include, in particular, the many small and medium-sized enterprises which dominate the predominant part of the Saxon economic landscape. In addition, the Ministry is also responsible for strengthening the labor market. The focus here is on bringing together companies and specialists and promoting the region as an attractive place to work. The area of traffic deals with the planning and expansion of the transport routes in Saxony, the optimal connection of all cities and regions as well as the expansion of the long-distance transport network.
